That is noteworthy.It just happened. The Wildcats have landed a commitment from Oak Park (Mich.) four-star offensive guard Justin Rogers, who chose UK over a laundry list of schools.Rogers picked the Wildcats over Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Tennessee and others. He is the No. 30 overall recruit in the country, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.Additionally, Rogers is the top player in Michigan and the top-rated guard. Mark Stoops has secured five commitments this spring from a number of talented prospects.Currently, Kentucky has commitments from Rogers, four-star offensive tackle John Young and four-star defensive tackle Lamar Goods. Highly-touted local quarterback Beau Allen and three-star cornerback Andru Phillips round out the group thus far.Kentucky’s class ranked 44th nationally before Rogers’ commitment. Expect that ranking to rise soon.
