Hoeing Proves Talent In High School Showcase

(Image Provided)CHICAGO, Ill. – Do you remember those movies A League of their Own, Rookie of the Year, and Ferris Bueler’s Day Off?They all feature scenes at a historic ballpark that Babe Ruth famously “called his shot.”Wrigley Field has now played host to the 2014 Under Armour All-America Baseball Game featuring a student at Batesville High School.Bryan Hoeing took the mound in the seventh inning Saturday. The first batter he faced grounded out to second base, the next reached base after an error and was later thrown out at second. The third was struck out by the Bulldog senior.Scouts say Hoeing was clocked at 91 mph.Hoeing was one of only 36 high school baseball players across the nation invited to the game.Family and friends attended the game along with his high school coach Alex Davis.
