first_imgHome » News » Agencies & People » Spicerhaart rolls out Partner programme across Butters John Bee previous nextAgencies & PeopleSpicerhaart rolls out Partner programme across Butters John BeeEmployees at the agency are now being offered the same home working roles as their Haart counterparts but so far no branch closures have been announced.Nigel Lewis27th July 20200613 Views Spicerhaart has begun to roll out its home-working ‘partner’ programme across its Butters John Bee estate agency.This follows the announcement earlier this month that its largest firm, Haart, would be offering existing employees the same partner programme, which gives agents the opportunity to work from home.These are directly employed but otherwise very much modelled on the Purplebricks style of working.The first two BJB employees to take up the offer have now been announced and, like their Haart counterparts will work from home, have access to a local property centre but also be supported by Spicerhaart’s call centre.The new positions at both estate agencies have been presented by Spicerhaart as an expansion programme but so far the two new Butters John Bee staff are existing staff who will remain working within their local areas but work flexible hours from home.For example Bev Shingler Day (main pic), who until recently had been a senior sales manager at its Telford branch, is now a partner with ‘responsibility for the Telford area’.And Thomas O’Brien (left), who will be responsible for Kidsgrove, was a valuer at its local branch until now.The introduction of its Partner programme at Haart coincided with the closure of 24 branches, but at the moment BJS’s website still lists 17 offices, the same number it had before the initiative began.“These are fully employed positions, not self-employed, giving our staff all the benefits associated with being part of the Spicerhaart group, while offering great flexibility and work-life balance,” says Group Managing Director Antony Lark.“Those taking up the roles absolutely love the opportunity it brings.
